Interior Architecture
Exhibition // 16 June–24 July 2011 // La Trobe Visual Arts Centre
Interior Architecture examines a number of ways that contemporary artists experience and represent bodies in space. Spaces of the feminine are the subject of installation piece Untitled Grey (2010). Using flexible materials as a metaphor for the flux and change of identity, craft processes of tying, twisting and plaiting create sites of reference for the female lived experience. Group show curated by Caroline Phillips.
